We are introducing a whole new way of managing tickets / seats on a Booking. Now admins can directly add or remove tickets from the Booking details page without changing the status of the ticket.
The calculations are automatically updated as tickets/ seats are added or removed.
Please follow the steps below to Add/ Remove tickets/ seats:
The most common reason when seats are changed on a Booking is when the tickets are not paid.
Go to the Booking details page (see the below screenshot)
In the manifest area of the booking page, you will see a trash icon against each ticket. If you want to remove any ticket from the booking, click on the trash icon, the system will ask to confirm the action.
As you delete the system will update the calculations accordingly.
Note: If Tax, Conv Fee and Processing Fee are enabled, system does the calculation as follows:
- Ticket price is deducted from total
- Proportional Tax is deducted from the total
- Conv. fee of one ticket is deducted from the total
- If the payment is made using credit card, proportional processing fee is deducted from the total
- If the booking is fully paid, the deducted amount is shown as Overpayment and will reflect in Pending Refunds List
You can also Add Ticket/ Seat on a Booking. The following are the steps:
Just above the manifest area on the booking details page you will see a new button ADD TICKETS
Click the Add Ticket button and it will zip open the pre-filled information as per the billing details of the booking.
You can edit the pre-filled information. Click Add button to add ticket to the booking. If seats are available, the system will show a success message.
When the ticket is added successfully, the system will update the total tickets and total amount accordingly.
Now you can add payment to this booking using the Add payment functionality.
Important Note: This is very important to understand that whenever a ticket is added or deleted from the booking, the system does not send updated booking details to the customer, you have to make sure that after making all adjustments in the tickets you must resend booking confirmation email to the customer.
